International Corporate Banking Brokers Coverage, VP
Join Barclays as an International Corporate Banking Broker Coverage professional at the Vice President level, guiding and growing relationships with large corporate clients in the Broker Dealer and related Market Infrastructure sector. Subsectors include: Securities and Derivatives Exchanges, Central Counterparties (CCPs), Retail and Wholesale Broker Dealers (BDs), Futures Commission Merchants (FCMs), and Proprietary Trading Firms / High Frequency Traders (HFTs).
About the role
Serve as the primary client interface, delivering strategic financial solutions across lending, risk management, and capital markets while coordinating with global product teams. Act as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of clients, developing a deep understanding of client strategies, capital structures, and operating environments. Maintain regular interaction with senior client stakeholders (CFOs, Treasurers, FP&A leads) to drive engagement and identify opportunities to expand relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships to identify financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance.
- Analyze data from investment portfolios, cash flow, and other sources to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Research and understand client industry trends, regulatory landscapes, and competitive environments to inform strategic recommendations.
- Design customized solutions addressing client-specific needs using the bank’s product portfolio.
- Communicate the value proposition of proposed solutions, justify recommendations, and negotiate terms beneficial to both client and bank.
- Provide expert guidance on financial decisions, including investment advice, risk management, and wealth management strategies.
- Assess financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships and implement measures to minimize potential losses.
- Document all client interactions, transactions, and agreements for transparency and auditability.
- Monitor client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other metrics to evaluate relationship management effectiveness.
- Travel up to 20% as required.
Requirements
- Ample credit analysis and risk assessment capabilities.
- Confirmed client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience across trade finance and transaction banking products.
- Solid background in corporate lending, including structuring and execution.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey highly detailed information.
- Self-starter with the ability to work resourcefully in fast-paced environments.
- Validated experience coaching and developing teams to achieve business goals.
- FINRA Series 63 and Series 79 licensed.
- Experience with markets.

Pay
Base salary range: $145,000 – $215,000.
This role is located in New York, NY and is regulated by FINRA.
