Internal Wholesaler - LTC
Job Summary
Drive sales and build strong relationships with producers to generate revenue and meet sales quotas. Proactively calls agents and recruits new agents to build a book of business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Builds relationships with key producers to discuss complex sales concepts, marketing campaigns, and product information.
- Maintain and grow team sales goal in coordination with sales resources
- Proactive calling to all assigned agents to build territory
- Develop new business by recruiting new agents and growing existing agent groups to maximize revenue potential
- Partner with sales resources in all aspects of producer development. Be able to call on lower producing agents in a sales capacity
- Maintain a proactive and supportive relationship with the sales, operations teams, the assigned group of agents, and solution centers
- Develop expert knowledge of products, carriers, and Crump resources
- Coincide with sales team and producers to run complex and advanced illustrations consulting on creative solutions
- EFFECTIVELY UTILIZE COMPANY CLIENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM TO MANAGE SALES PROCESS
Qualifications
- Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously
- Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to work in a self-directed fashion
- Experience with PCs in a Windows environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products
- Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions
- Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
- Excellent telephone etiquette skills
- Display maturity, competitiveness, and a good work ethic
- Demonstrated knowledge of Insurance industry, life and other related insurance products and sales processes
- Possess basic knowledge of insurance underwriting
- Two years of work experience in the life insurance industry, with one year of experience in a sales support role
