About the role

The ideal candidate will lead and mentor a team of associates, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and production excellence. They will communicate and exemplify safety practices, company goals, and policies to ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with associates, off-shift teams, and support groups through strong listening and communication skills to remove roadblocks.
• Coach associates for basic safety, quality, performance, and other behavior concerns, providing feedback and follow-up to supervisors.
• Monitor and coordinate all activities related to production, including labor, breaks, production schedule, and rotation schedule.
• Understand and communicate complex production schedules, initiating necessary adjustments as required.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, scrap reduction, problem-solving, and troubleshooting for any downtime, quality, or performance issues.
• Document and remove scrap and RTV product both physically and electronically.
• Complete Work Instruction certification for all respective areas.

Qualifications

• Previous production experience in a leadership type position.
• High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Ability to obtain Forklift License.
• Ability to be certified in all LOTO procedures for respective area.
• Ability to be certified in all jobs of respective area.
• Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous production experience in a leadership type position.
