The Internal Medicine team at MedVet is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to our patients and their owners. They focus on long-term patient care and value relationship building. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Internal Medicine Technician Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinary technicians in ensuring patients receive quality care
• Absorb and communicate information to clients regarding patient care, updates, and treatments
• Aid in the accuracy and completeness of documentation
• Oversight and care of stable patients
• Support Veterinary Technicians with patient restraint
• Manage the restocking of supplies for clinical teams
• Maintain clean treatment areas and manage laundry needs of department

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding client service skills and phone etiquette
• Ability to multi-task, self-motivated, and have strong attention to detail
• Strong sense of urgency and critical thinking skills
• Effective patient restraint skills
• Flexibility with work hours and ability to work additional hours when necessary
• Efficiency in a fast-paced environment
• Prior veterinary experience required
