Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Physician - Windham, Maine

MaineHealth Primary Care is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Physician to join an established and highly respected practice in Windham, Maine. The position offers outpatient care across the lifespan, teaching opportunities, and a supportive collaborative team with a strong culture of longevity and provider retention.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time, 1.0 FTE outpatient clinical practice.
• Care for adult and pediatric patients across the lifespan.
• Participate in medical education: host Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residents (3‑5 annually) and medical students (1‑3 throughout the year) with typical one‑month rotations.
• Engage in shared telephone call coverage with a group of seven physicians across two practices, with a call rotation of approximately 1:7 including rotating holiday coverage.
• Utilize on‑site and nearby ancillary services such as Nordx laboratory and limited radiology.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics.
• Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine.

Pay

Annual base salary: $257,700.

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling options: four 10‑hour days or five 8‑hour days.
• Clinic hours: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Approximately 32 patient‑facing hours per week within a 40‑hour schedule.
• Shared telephone call coverage with a 1:7 rotation, including rotating holiday coverage.
