About the Role

As our Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will help adult patients in our outpatient clinic receive comprehensive primary care, including diagnosis and management of common illnesses. This role is 100% outpatient.

Responsibilities

  • Assume clinical responsibility for tasks performed within your scope of practice, collaborating with a physician/medical director
  • Take patient histories and perform physical examinations
  • Order diagnostic tests and establish diagnoses
  • Provide care and management for common illnesses
  • Facilitate disease prevention
  • Make appropriate referrals to specialists and community agencies
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop a plan for the patient and their family

Requirements

  • Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program
  • Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
  • Hold and maintain national certification in NP/PA area, under Arizona regulations
  • American Heart Association BCLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three years of experience in internal medicine

Pay

$107,452 - $163,786 per year
