Internal Audit Intern

We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? Actually the posting includes description of company, then internship description. We need to use

for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. We need to preserve all substantive info, remove boilerplate (cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions). Also remove "Click here for more information about Fortitude Re." and similar links. We need to extract: Company description: Fortitude Reinsurance Company Ltd. (Fortitude Re) is one of the world’s leading providers of legacy reinsurance solutions... etc. This is about the company, could be "About the role"? Actually "About the role" is for role description, but we could put company description under "About the role" maybe? The instruction: use

for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we can have sections like About the role (description of internship), Responsibilities (What You Will Do), Requirements (What You Will Have?), Qualifications maybe overlapping, Skills maybe, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to decide what content goes where. The posting includes: - Intro about Fortitude Re (company background). Could be placed under "About the role"? Actually "About the role" usually describes the role and maybe company. We'll put company overview there. - Then description: "Fortitude Re’s Internal Audit intern will support the Internal Audit team..." That's role description; could be part of About the role as well. - Then "What You Will Do:" list of duties. That's Responsibilities. - Then "What You Will Have:" includes eligibility: rising senior pursuing degree, graduation timeline, availability, relocation assistance, work authorization, no sponsorship, etc. Also mentions "competitive compensation" and "relocation assistance". Also "The standard benefits listed below are offered to full-time employees." Then they talk about culture, inclusion, EEO statement (which we need to remove as boilerplate). Also recruitment agency notice, etc. We need to extract substantive info: eligibility criteria, relocation assistance, competitive compensation (but no specific amount), maybe benefits? They mention "standard benefits listed below are offered to full-time employees." but they don't list them; it's placeholder. So we should not create Benefits section unless they actually state them. They didn't list benefits, just mention that standard benefits are offered to full-time employees (but internship maybe not full-time?). Since they didn't list specifics, we should not create Benefits section. Pay: they mention "competitive compensation" but no specific number. According to rule: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. "competitive compensation" is vague but it's a statement about pay. Is that considered stating? It says "competitive compensation". That is a statement about pay but not specific. The rule says: never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. "competitive compensation" is similar to "commensurate with experience"? It's vague but maybe considered filler. Safer to not create Pay section. Schedule: they give internship dates: June 1, 2027 through August 6, 2027. That's a schedule. So we can create Schedule section with that. Also they mention location: Nashville, TN office. We need to include all substantive info: company description, role description, responsibilities list, qualifications/requirements (eligibility, degree, graduation timeline, availability, work authorization, no sponsorship, relocation assistance, competitive compensation maybe mention but not as Pay section), skills (analytical, quantitative, interpersonal, enthusiasm about internal audit profession), maybe also "outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement". Also "demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement". Also "strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills". Also "enthusiastic about the internal audit profession". Also "rising senior pursuing a degree in Accounting, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field who will graduate between November 2027 and June 2028." Also "Candidates must be available to work in Nashville for all 10-weeks of the program." Also "relocation assistance will be provided if the candidate is not currently based in or around Nashville." Also "Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to consider applicants who will now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa." Also "The competitive candidate will have demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, possess strong analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills, and is enthusiastic about the internal audit profession." We could put qualifications: degree, graduation timeline, work authorization, no sponsorship. Requirements: availability, relocation assistance? Or maybe combine. Skills: analytical, quantitative, interpersonal, enthusiasm about internal audit profession. We also have "What You Will Do:" list: Assist in execution of audits; Support internal audit function in executing responsibility to test SOX and ICFR controls; Validate that company operates in controlled environment with appropriate risk-management processes through audit fieldwork and analysis; Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls using risk-based methodology; Contribute to overall effectiveness and value of internal audit by recommending and developing innovative approaches and solutions (e.g., use of data analytics, automation, agile audit methodologies); Support ongoing communication with management to follow-up on previously identified audit issues and test resolution documentation to verify closure; Support internal audit team to clearly and concisely communicate audit results or other key messages to various constituents, including senior business and audit management, and advise on emerging industry or regulatory topics/issues that may impact audit coverage. We need to output HTML fragment only, no markdown fences. Let's structure:

About the role

Fortitude Reinsurance Company Ltd. (Fortitude Re) is one of the world’s leading providers of legacy reinsurance solutions. They work with the world’s leading insurance companies to help them execute comprehensive, transformational solutions for legacy Life & Annuity and P&C lines. Fortitude Re manages a general account of approximately $111 billion across life, annuity, and property & casualty insurance products. The company takes a long-term view on growth and is proud to be backed by a consortium of sophisticated institutional investors led by The Carlyle Group and T&D Insurance Group. Incorporated under the laws of Bermuda on January 1, 2017, Fortitude Re’s roots in the insurance industry and the experience of their leadership go back many decades. Fortitude Re’s leadership team has an average industry tenure of over 20 years, and an impressive track record of successfully managing the most complex legacy liabilities. Their deep insurance experience and proprietary risk modeling capabilities allow them to structure bespoke transactions that benefit both insurance companies and their policyholders. Fortitude Re continues to strengthen its ability to pursue further growth and provide innovative solutions for the global insurance industry.

Fortitude Re’s Internal Audit intern will support the Internal Audit team to provide independent and objective assurance, advice, and insight guided by a philosophy of adding value to improve the operations of Fortitude Re. This position offers hands-on experience with executing assurance and advisory services that support the Company in achieving its strategic, operational, financial, compliance and reporting objectives, as well as supporting the Board and its Committees in discharging their governance responsibilities. The internship will be based in our Nashville, TN office and will run from June 1, 2027, through August 6, 2027.

Then Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of audits.
  • Support the internal audit function in executing their responsibility to test the Company’s SOX and ICFR controls.
  • Validate that the Company operates in a controlled environment with appropriate risk‑management processes through audit fieldwork and analysis.
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the Company’s internal controls using a risk‑based methodology developed from professional auditing standards.
  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness and value of internal audit by recommending and developing innovative approaches and solutions (e.g., the use of data analytics, automation, and agile audit methodologies).
  • Support the ongoing communication with management to follow‑up on previously identified audit issues and test the resolution documentation to verify closure.
  • Support the internal audit team to clearly and concisely communicate audit results or other key messages to a variety of constituents, including senior business and audit management, and advise on emerging industry or regulatory topics/issues that may impact audit coverage.
Then Requirements/Qualifications: maybe combine. We have eligibility: rising senior pursuing degree in Accounting, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field who will graduate between November 2027 and June 2028. Must be available to work in Nashville for all 10 weeks. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no sponsorship. Relocation assistance if not based in or around Nashville. Also competitive compensation (maybe mention but not as Pay). Also outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, strong analytical, quantitative, interpersonal skills, enthusiasm about internal audit profession. We could split: Requirements (eligibility, availability, work authorization, relocation assistance) and Qualifications (education, graduation timeline). Skills (analytical, quantitative, interpersonal, enthusiasm). Or we could have Qualifications include education and skills. Given instruction to prefer few substantive sections over many thin ones, we could combine into one section "Requirements and Qualifications". But headings list includes Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. We could use Requirements for eligibility and availability, Qualifications for education and achievement, Skills for abilities. Let's do:

Requirements

  • Must be a rising senior pursuing a degree in Accounting, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Expected graduation between November 2027 and June 2028.
  • Available to work in Nashville, TN for the full 10‑week program (June 1 – August 6, 2027).
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the United States; candidates requiring sponsorship for an employment visa will not be considered.
  • Relocation assistance provided if not currently based in or around Nashville.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for the internal audit profession.
We could also mention "competitive compensation" maybe in a short paragraph under About the role or separate? Since we are not making Pay section, we could include it in About the role paragraph: "This position offers competitive compensation and relocation assistance..." but we already have relocation assistance in Requirements. Could add "competitive compensation" in About the role. Let's adjust About the role paragraph to include that. Add after internship description: "This position offers competitive compensation and relocation assistance for candidates not based in or around Nashville." But we already have relocation assistance in Requirements; we could keep it there and not duplicate. However we must preserve all substantive info; duplication is okay but we should avoid duplicated lines per instruction: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." So we should avoid duplicating the same info. So we should not repeat relocation assistance in both About the role and Requirements. Choose one place. Probably better to keep it in Requirements (eligibility). So About the role should not mention relocation assistance. It can mention competitive compensation though. Thus About the role paragraph: include competitive compensation. Let's craft final HTML. Check for any boilerplate: we removed EEO statements, recruitment
