Qualifications

Essential Functions

Program Development
Formulate training outlines and determine instructional methods utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods, such as, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, meetings, and workshops.
Select or develop training aids including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
Assist in sourcing instructors or speakers.
Understands and works within the constraints of grant budget.
Creates communications and evaluation materials for all aspects of the program.
Works with EVP, HR to develop program to last past the end of the grant.
Program Implementation
Responsible for scheduling and communicating with speakers.
Responsible for reserving rooms, ordering food, and preparing supplies for meetings.
Generates agendas, necessary copies, assessment sheets, and other documents as needed.
Manages participant communications and ensures scheduled meetings meet the needs of attendees.
Serves as point of contact for all aspects of the program.
Program Evaluation and Documentation
Evaluate effectiveness of program utilizing relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods.
Reviews instructor evaluations and recommend improvements to program content and/or instructor presentation methods.
Produces written documentation to comply with reporting requirements outlined in grant.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
Prefer on-going degree (bachelor’s or graduate level) work in Training and Development, Human Resources, or related field.
1 year of experience in administrative or customer services role.
Verbal and written proficiency in English.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite or related software.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, with strong attention to follow-through.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Must be responsible, dependable, and display the highest level of integrity.

Work Environment

The work is performed in a typical office environment
Occasional driving of personal vehicle may be required.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Regular in person interaction with the public, clients, and stakeholders.
Handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
