Intern -Supply Chain

This is a twelve (12) week internship program starting in May 2027. You must be enrolled in college during the program.

The Supply Chain Procurement & Material Management Department has a summer internship position available at Energy Transfer's Houston office.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with the natural gas industry, gaining experience in Supply Chain processes, language, purchase orders, inventory management and other supply chain activities.
• Learn the sourcing processes and requirements for projects, inventory care & custody processes and other supply chain areas as time allows.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies, above average GPA and willingness to travel.
• Interested in supply chain business processes and the energy industry.
• At a minimum, completion of Sophomore level related courses.
• Preferably junior status as of Fall 2027.

Skills

• Strong computer and advanced Excel and Word skills preferred.
• Must possess a strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities.
• Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast paced environment.
• Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization.
