Intern - Supply Chain

About the role

As a Supply Chain Intern in GP&L, you will work alongside procurement professionals and leadership, participating in hands-on activities such as sourcing projects, data analysis, and large-scale spend management. This internship is designed to develop the skills needed to grow into a procurement or supply chain leader.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of Category Managers.
• Assist in the development of category strategies and sourcing projects.
• Assist with quarterly supplier review meetings.
• Compile data to support GP&L decision-making.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Ability to start full-time in May 2027 and work until August 2027.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with several Category Managers on various projects.
• Ability to coordinate and work with cross-functional groups such as operations and technical.

Preferred Qualifications

• GPA of at least 3.0 at an accredited college or university.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Basic understanding of supply chain.
• Strategic and creative thinking.

Pay

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire: $41,600.00 - $52,600.00 annually. Pay within this range will vary based on relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.
