Intern Power Generation Engineering
WPS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Power Generation Engineering Intern in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. This role will begin in May/June of 2027 and will be full-time through the summer.

About the Role
Energize your career in a progressive work environment through our engineering intern program. This opportunity provides real-world, hands-on experience in your field of study while you are still enrolled in college. You will join a team of multi-disciplinary engineers supporting the operation, maintenance, performance, and optimization of Fox Energy Center. Receive mentoring and guidance from experienced engineers within Power Generation and network with other engineering interns throughout the fleet.
Responsibilities
- Perform equipment inspections
- Troubleshoot operation and maintenance issues
- Investigate equipment failures
- Provide project support and assist in managing small projects
- Enhance equipment reliability and plant performance
- Support plant control systems
- Review and update drawings and procedures
- Ensure adherence to codes and standards
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSE
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
Pay
The hourly rate for this position is $23.10, with paid company holidays.
