Intern - Philanthropy Operations

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Philanthropy Operations with departmental projects and administrative tasks.
• Research donor profiles and record and document staff and client testimonials.
• Assist with data entry and record maintenance in the donor database.
• Support the preparation of donor acknowledgments, stewardship materials, and donor communications.
• Aid in generating reports, updating records, and maintaining accurate donor information.
• Afford assistance with special fundraising and donor engagement projects.
• Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and departmental initiatives.
• Learn about philanthropy operations, gift processing, donor stewardship, and nonprofit fundraising best practices.
• Support Goodwill South Florida’s mission, values, and culture through daily work and interactions.
• Complete additional projects and assignments as requested.
