Intern - Operations

About the role

The Operations internship is a 9-10 week program designed to provide a thorough hands-on approach to operational processes and procedures in order to gain a strong understanding of how the Company operates.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a high-level understanding of how different aspects of the operation achieve key objectives and promote the accomplishment of the Company’s mission.
• Interface with appropriate Support Center and service center associates in the completion of various tasks on a daily basis.
• Accompany and observe leadership in each aspect of local operations.
• Accompany and observe during customer service and sales calls.
• Accompany Company drivers on local delivery routes to garner an understanding of the freight delivery process.
• Participate in Operations reviews to analyze and implement data-driven changes.
• Develop presentations to promote to senior Operations leaders.

Requirements

A High School Diploma or GED is required. Additionally, the candidate must have completed their junior or senior year at an accredited 4-year university prior to the start date of the internship.
