Intern Nurse - Med/Surg Nights

Overview

This role provides technical assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse for a specific patient group to promote quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients
• Contributing to and implementing care plans
• Evaluating patient progress
• Supporting nursing staff with patient care
• Participating in activities to improve healthcare delivery
• Enhancing clinical leadership knowledge
• Engaging in ongoing education
• Communication with staff, patients, and guests
• Completing assigned goals

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of a registered nursing program awaiting licensure, with a maximum of 90 days in the Nurse Intern II category
• Minimum computer literacy
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire
