Professional Development Objectives

This internship offers hands-on experience on a full-service trading desk, where you will learn about products traded, including corporate bonds, CDs, agencies, and treasuries. You will also work on the taxable fixed income trading desk with Traders and Assistants on a variety of projects using Bloomberg, Excel, and firm platforms.

The Summer 2027 Internship Program is an in-person experience lasting from May 27, 2027, to July 30, 2027, with opportunities located in downtown Dallas at our HTS Tower location and throughout the country at various branch locations.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Traders and Sales team
• Learn desk technique and strategy
• Complete certification through Bloomberg University
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
• Proven self-starter who can initiate tasks and follow up to completion to produce high-quality results in a timely manner
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills
• Rising senior studying finance, business, economics, or related fields
• Candidate MUST have authorization to work for any employer in the US without requiring sponsorship, whether in student status or not
