About the role

As a Branch Intern, you play a key role in the client experience at a Fidelity Investor Center. Working alongside expert financial professionals, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist with a broad range of investment products and services, and gain valuable exposure to personal investing and financial planning. Throughout the internship, you will participate in significant work assignments built to strengthen your knowledge of the financial services industry while developing critical business, communication, and relationship-building skills. You will collaborate with team members to address business challenges, identify opportunities for process improvements, and bring fresh perspectives that help enhance both client and business outcomes. This role is ideal for students who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and are interested in exploring a future career in financial planning or wealth management. This position is based on-site at the Investor Center location. Through Fidelity's FIDTERN Program, interns will gain hands-on experience supporting business-critical initiatives while receiving ongoing coaching and mentorship from managers and branch professionals. In addition to daily tasks, interns will join professional development programs, networking events, and learning opportunities. These are built to support their career growth and deepen their understanding of Fidelity's business and culture. Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues.
