The ConocoPhillips’ Human Resources Summer Internship Program includes exciting job assignments, a company and HR orientation, field trips, social activities, weekly seminars, and opportunities to meet upper management. You will be assigned a supervisor who will provide formal/informal feedback along with mentorship and guidance throughout your internship. You will also be assigned a mentor to help support your personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities

As a Human Resources Intern, you will: Receive diversified training through on-the-job assignments, be exposed to other HR functions outside of your immediate work group, including our HR Leadership team, learn more about ConocoPhillips and our business, as well as the energy industry as a whole, and build meaningful relationships through professional, social, volunteer and team activities.

  • Additional projects spanning different HR functions

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Human Resources & Industrial Relations, other related field, or foreign equivalent
  • Current level in college: Senior or Graduate Student
  • Expected graduation date: Fall 2027 through Spring/Fall 2028
  • Available for internship start mid-late May 2027
  • A minimum of ten (10) continuous weeks’ availability for internship

Qualifications

  • Willing to work in any of these locations: Bartlesville, OK; Houston, TX; or Midland, TX
  • A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products
  • Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right
  • Takes an active role in acquiring, developing and retaining a high-performing, highly engaged team
  • Understands how key financial and quantitative indicators impact the business

Schedule

Typical length of our internships varies from 10 to 14 weeks based on the project and your availability. The internship will start mid-late May 2027.
