Intern - Highway Engineering

Description We are seeking motivated interns to join The Hoyle Tanner Internship Program in our Highway Group within our Ground Transportation Division. This position can be based out of our Manchester, NH, Portsmouth, NH, Yarmouth, ME or Burlington, VT office. This is a paid internship opportunity. Start date is anticipated to be May of 2026. Earlier start dates are available on a limited basis. Responsibilities Assist engineers with the planning, design, inspection, and construction support of highway projectsPreparing CADD drawings and contract plans, performing engineering calculations, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimatesAttend site visits for projects under constructionCompiling technical reports and project documentationSupporting project meetings and coordination efforts Requirements The preferred candidate will be currently enrolled in a BSCE programEIT is preferred, or ability to obtainExperience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus Hoyle Tanner is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
