Highway Engineer - Intern

About the role
We are currently seeking a civil engineering student for a highway engineering internship in our Baltimore, MD office. Our Highway Design group is responsible for the design of a variety of transportation facilities, including highways, pedestrian facilities, bicycle facilities, and transit improvements.
Requirements
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from an accredited institution.
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing at all levels of the organization.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have the ability to handle multiple assignments.
- Experience with design software tools such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Pay
The expected hourly compensation range for this position is $21.50 - $24.50. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors including the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.
