Highway Engineer - Intern

About the role

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP is seeking an Intern to work with our Transportation - Highway group in our Jacksonville, FL office. The Highway Engineer Intern will participate in the planning and design on transportation related projects.

Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers in a variety of tasks in the field of roadway design

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Ability to effectively communicate orally/written at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple assignments
• Experience with design software tools such as MicroStation preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
