About the role

Halff is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for the Dallas office for Summer 2027. The intern will assist with a variety of civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Perform drafting CAD work.
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects.
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or an ABET‑accredited equivalent.
• Great communication skills.
• Solid relationship and team‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated with strong organization skills.

Pay

Interns are paid hourly; salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full‑time (40 hours/week), typically 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
