Intern
About the Role
Behavioral Health Intern functions alongside QMHP-CS and under supervision, providing one-on-one psychosocial rehabilitation, skills training, group facilitation, case management support, family engagement, and community outreach services to children, adolescents, and families.
Location
Austin, Texas and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, Marriage and Family Therapy, Sociology, or related behavioral health program.
- Familiarity with mental health, substance use, and recovery services.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.
Bilingual (Spanish speaking) skills preferred.
