About the role
Work alongside a dynamic production staff
Gain hands on exposure to both studio and field production
Take part in crafting stories for air from research to completion
Responsibilities
- Review research for daily stories and long-term projects
- Aid in coordinating and organizing assets for editors and graphic artists
- Support essential administrative tasks to aid in running our 1-hour program on the air
- Watch and evaluate story board edits for editors
- Other duties, as assigned
Requirements
- Availability to commit 20 hours per week to the internship
- Flexible schedule to meet the demands and rigorous demands of a daily one-hour television program
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
- Highly organized and have a passion for history, pop culture, and news
