About the Role
Vinfen offers internships within our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Division that provide experiential learning opportunities by working alongside teams delivering community-based services to individuals with mental health conditions and behavioral health needs. Internship duties vary by position and include opportunities to explore human services, social work, and the day-to-day work of mental health professionals. Typical internships last from 3 to 6 months and may take place within one or multiple Vinfen locations depending on outlined internship goals.

Responsibilities
Internship duties vary greatly by position but may include:
- Exploring and gaining experience in human services and social work
- Understanding the practical, day-to-day life of mental health professionals
- Working alongside teams providing community-based services
Qualifications
- Earning college credit and working towards a collegiate degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with virtual conferencing tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Ability to attend and complete in-person meetings and responsibilities
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Cultural sensitivity and compassion
- Reliability, flexibility, and a desire to learn
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Must be willing to sign and follow the terms of a non-disclosure agreement
- Able to successfully pass a CORI and a multistate background check

Pay
Starting from USD $20.00/Hr.
