About the role

SRI’s Computer Science Laboratory (CSL) develops leading-edge tools and methods for areas including computer security, high-assurance systems, advanced user interfaces, computer networking, robotics, biotechnology, and nanotechnology. We study the logical foundations of scalable systems beyond the scope of traditional testing or simulation, and we create and apply high-level tools for rigorous mechanical analysis. The goal of this fall semester internship is to develop a 3D vision framework and explore brain decoding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate relevant machine learning frameworks and software
• Document the research ideas and publish an academic paper

Requirements

• Current Masters or PhD student majoring in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with machine learning frameworks

Pay

$40/hour. Salary ranges will vary based on geographic location, market competitiveness, and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
