Program Details

This internship is designed to support students in technical fields through hands-on experience and professional development.

Schedule

• Up to 16 hours per week on-site during academic sessions (flexible scheduling to accommodate classes)
• Up to 40 hours per week during summer and holiday breaks

Responsibilities

• Support technical and/or programmatic tasks under the supervision of SAIC staff
• Assist with data analysis, documentation, research, and process improvement initiatives
• Participate in team meetings, project briefings, and status updates
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop practical solutions to real-world problems
• Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and deliverables for internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in a technical field
• High school diploma and three (3) or more years of college coursework in a technical field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• US Citizenship
• Ability to obtain a Secret or Top Secret clearance depending on the work performed

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship, project, or research experience in a related field

Pay

Target salary range: Up to $40,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
