About the role

Our Transportation division is a talented team of experts working together to deliver engineering solutions that move people in a smarter way. We provide full-service planning, design, and construction management services on everything from roadways and bridges to airports, stormwater infrastructure, and parks/recreation projects primarily for state and local agencies and municipalities.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an ABET-accredited bachelor's degree program in civil engineering with a focus on structural
• At least a Junior or more advanced in your curriculum
• GPA of 3.5 or above
• Willing to commit to between 16 and 20 hours per week
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD and/or MicroStation proficiency is preferred
• Prior internship experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Support engineers in the preparation of project studies/reports and design plans for projects including structural studies, design, or inspections
• Assist with data collection and prepare technical calculations
• Gain well-rounded experience through mentorship by experts in the field to enhance classroom curriculum
• Handle project documentation, project filing, and plan drafting using CAD
• Learn about state and local standards and regulations
