Intern

About the role
The Intern will support the day-to-day administrative functions within the department.
Responsibilities
- Performs assignments to carry out construction engineering tasks designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
- Assists Project Management, Superintendents, Estimators, and Office Staff in all areas of construction administrative-related duties.
- Assists in documentation related to daily activities and all construction-related documents, including but not limited to RFIs, Submittals, and Contract Change Orders.
- Works under the supervision of a Project Manager, Office Manager, or senior-level team member.
- Creates and maintains centralized files for project records (including digital).
- Attends and takes minutes for the development team as requested.
- Helps in the preparation of reports, including monthly development reports.
- Supports and enforces Quality and Safety plans and procedures, ensuring conformance to company guidelines and practices.
- Contacts and coordinates with Suppliers and Subcontractors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering program, and/or has a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Intern experience/coursework in construction projects in a high-volume environment.
- Experience with Microsoft software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Pay
USD $19.00 - USD $20.00 per hour.
