Essential Job Functions
- Support continuous improvement activities
- Perform time studies, data analysis, and a variety of other tasks to support Lean activities and projects
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and computer-based activities
- Run tests and validate checks on data, equipment, or software
- Clean, move, and maintain equipment and supplies
- Assist team with administrative tasks and project documentation
- Assist with any other engineering or manufacturing tasks as directed by Engineering Manager
SKILLS And ABILITIES
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be an analytical thinker
- Knowledge of metal working and manufacturing process
- Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and related test procedures
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD preferred
- Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma preferred
EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other related major
