Essential Job Functions

• Support continuous improvement activities
• Perform time studies, data analysis, and a variety of other tasks to support Lean activities and projects
• Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and computer-based activities
• Run tests and validate checks on data, equipment, or software
• Clean, move, and maintain equipment and supplies
• Assist team with administrative tasks and project documentation
• Assist with any other engineering or manufacturing tasks as directed by Engineering Manager

SKILLS And ABILITIES

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be an analytical thinker
• Knowledge of metal working and manufacturing process
• Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and related test procedures
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAD preferred
• Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma preferred

EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE

• Current enrollment in a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other related major
