Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform filing.
- Answer phones/receptionist duties.
- Index and organize documents.
- Proofread documents and materials.
- Auxiliary with preparing and following up regarding Request for Production of Documents.
- Create, revise, and update charts, logs, and indices.
- Organize and index correspondence, memorandums, attorney notes, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Auxiliary with bates labels, document duplication, and redaction.
- Auxiliary with document productions and discovery.
- Perform routine clerical tasks.
- Auxiliary with copying projects.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Assistance to other departments within the firm such as Marketing, Accounting, and Human Resources.
- Observe and assist with hearings, mediations, trials as appropriate.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
- Effective handling of telephone calls with established Firm etiquette and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational skills for prioritizing workload.
- Impeccable integrity in confidential matters.
- Establishing effective working relationships throughout the Firm.
- Sitting, bending, stooping, computer keyboarding, and continuous use of the hands, telephone contact, reading, and lifting of 25-50 lbs. or more.
