Intermodal Operations Supervisor - IMEX USA

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, including executives.
• Lead and motivate employees, prioritizing multiple, often competing obligations.
• Plan labor needs in advance.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Intermodal or management experience a plus, but willing to invest and train the right individuals.
• Strong knowledge and focus on safety, enforcing compliance standards, and training staff.
• Strong desire to train and upskill team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A.A./A.S. Degree preferred, but not required.
• Intermodal and/or railroad experience a plus.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
