About the role

As an Intermediate Architectural Designer, you bring creativity, refined judgment, discipline, and genuine passion to every stage of the design process, from initial concept through full project development. You partner closely with clients to thoughtfully shape and deliver architectural interior projects that are both highly functional and beautifully detailed. Drawing on your hospitality design experience, you contribute fresh ideas while collaborating with your team to guide each project seamlessly through every design phase.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in client meetings and craft elaborate client presentations in InDesign, Google Slides, and PowerPoint
  • Create, produce, and manage detailed design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Communicate and collaborate across teams to drive conceptual thinking on projects
  • Produce 3D models, sketches, and boards to support your ideas
  • Select and specify architectural finishes
  • Design, detail, and specify custom FF&E
  • Coordinate with vendors and other project consultants to ensure project timelines and budgets are met

Requirements

  • B.Arch or B.S in Architecture or related field from an accredited school
  • Minimum 4 years of post-graduate design experience in an architectural and/or interior design studio
  • Strong Revit, Enscape, and AutoCAD skills
  • Ability to model in 3DS Max, Rhino, or Revit
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with designers across studios
  • Experience in design work within the hospitality industry is a plus
  • Training and/or qualifications such as ASID, NCIDQ, AIA are also a plus
  • Experience working within the context of a global company with a broad and diverse portfolio is desirable

Location

This opportunity is located at our Broadway Studio in New York. On this occasion, we can only consider applications from those fully authorized to work in the U.S. This position involves a hybrid work arrangement, incorporating both a 2-day remote and a 3-day in-person commitment in our New York studio.

Pay

Salary Range: $75,000–$90,000

Schedule

Full-time employee – Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:30 PM
