About the role
Michael Zenreich Architect PC/Support For Architects LLC is seeking a Project Architect to join their collaborative and innovative team in Midtown Manhattan. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of professional experience in New York City, specializing in hospitality or high-end residential design.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of stunning presentation drawings and detailed construction documents
- Attend site visits, conduct field reviews, and participate in crucial project meetings and construction administration
- Cook up contractor schedules, review shop drawings, and ensure timely submission of samples
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to resolve project challenges, keep schedules on track, and maintain project integrity
- Keep detailed meeting minutes and facilitate coordination between clients, contractors, and vendors
Requirements
- Experience: 5 + years of professional experience in New York City, ideally with a focus on hospitality or high-end residential design
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of both modern and traditional design, with an emphasis on high-end residential projects in New York
- Technical Skills: Strong CAD and Revit proficiency, along with a solid understanding of architectural building systems, materials, and New York City building codes
- Education: Professional degree in Architecture (Master’s degree is a plus)
