Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to develop creative interior design concepts for senior living interior projects.
- Participate in all project phases, from conceptual design through construction administration, ensuring design integrity and quality.
- Produce detailed drawings, presentations, and renderings to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Cook up with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure design solutions are executed accurately and meet client expectations.
- Aid in selecting materials, finishes, furnishings, and equipment that align with the design vision and project requirements.
- Conduct research and stay current with industry trends, innovations, and best practices in workplace and commercial interiors.
- Support project documentation, including construction documents, specifications, and schedules.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing design insight and recommendations.
- Mentor and support team members, providing guidance on design development, technical documentation, and professional best practices to strengthen overall team performance.
- Travel as needed to support project installations and site visits across the U.S.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in interior design, with a focus on senior living, hospitality, or residential practice areas.
- Strong design and conceptual thinking skills with a portfolio showcasing innovative and well-executed projects.
- Proficiency in design software, including Revit, Enscape, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, and rendering tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and team members.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods.
- LEED accreditation or progress toward licensure preferred (NCIDQ certification or progress towards certification preferred).

Pay
Salary Range: $72,500 to $81,200

PE has a hybrid policy that allows flexibility for our employees in managing their working days and hours to cater to their diverse needs.
