Responsibilities
- Works with senior interior designers to envision the concept story, project narrative, and graphics for concept presentations.
- Further develops design concepts and materials for presentation and implementation.
- Aids in space planning and furniture layouts.
- Creates FF&E budgets and matrices.
- Prepares/assemble FF&E packages including specifications, bid packages, and sample requests.
- Reviews and approves shop drawings and samples with final approval by Senior Interior Designer and/or Project Manager.
- Assists with construction administration including responding to RFI’s, preparing sketches, and visiting the project site.
- Coordinates and completes contract document packages.
- Participates in client meetings and presentations.
- Manages project deadlines and budget constraints.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of related industry experience required.
- NCIDQ certified or pursuing certification preferred.
- Hospitality, Senior Living, and/or Multi-Family experience preferred.
- LEED accreditation or willingness to pursue it within 6 months.
- Self-starter, passionate about design.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of building and ADA codes.
- Proficiency in design software, including Revit, Enscape, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, and rendering tools.
- Strong communication, organization, time management skills, and excellent graphic presentation skills.
- Ability to produce and coordinate a complete set of construction documents for permit and bid.
Qualifications
- LEED Accreditation or willingness to pursue it within 6 months.
- Experience in Hospitality, Senior Living, and/or Multi-Family projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographical work location. Salary Range: $60,000 - $74,000.
