About the role
We are seeking an experienced interior designer to join our innovative Interiors Team at K. Hovnanian Companies, LLC. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the reimagining of the American home, focusing on creating beautiful and affordable spaces that reflect modern lifestyles and diverse family needs.
Responsibilities
- Co-create on-trend interiors and new product designs for residential structures
- Create and prepare interior designs and virtual/3D models of residential structures
- Develop and produce design documentation and presentations
- Evolving the interior design “Looks” while developing new residential products for the future
- Collaborate on projects spanning from Research, Pre-Design through Execution of homes in our communities
- Assist on Model Home Directives, Sales Tools, and Marketing Strategies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in interior design
- Experience in residential design and construction
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and projects
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
- Professional certification in Interior Design preferred
- Knowledge of residential construction processes and materials
