Responsibilities
- Fabricate complex high-quality furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies for business aircraft.
- Perform parts replacements or repairs, basic electrical system installations, and general mechanical applications.
- Modify, refurbish, and fabricate aircraft cabinets.
- Complete daily turnover sheets.
- Maintain and repair shop facility, equipment, and tooling.
- Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
- Cleanliness of shop and surroundings.
- Communicate effectively (speaking, writing, reading) in English.
- Perform job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements
- A High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine, or related fields.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Routine walking, bending, squatting, sitting, climbing ladders, and stairs.
- Repetitive physical motions with arms and hands, emphasizing grasping, feeling, and finger dexterity.
- Standing for long periods.
- Effective communication skills.
- Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines including OSHA, Hazmat, etc.
- Professional demeanor and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivation and ability to work under specific deadlines and time constraints.
Qualifications
- Tech I: 0-2 years of experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine, or related field.
- Tech II: 2-4 years of experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine, or related field.
- Tech III: 4-6 years of experience in aviation, auto, RV, Marine, or related field.
- Master Tech: 6+ years’ experience in aviation interiors.
Skills
- General mechanical functions on aircraft cabinets and related systems.
- Minor modifications.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $20-$35. Additional compensation in the form of a shift differential will be provided if the employee is assigned to an alternate shift.
Schedule
This position offers a weekend shift schedule from Friday to Sunday, 6am-6:30pm. The shift incentive includes a 11.11% shift differential and a 3-day workweek.
