Interim Intermediate Critical Care Stepdown Manager
About the role
An Interim Intermediate Critical Care Stepdown Manager is needed to provide operational and clinical leadership for a critical care intermediate stepdown unit while ensuring quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff engagement. Reports to the Director of Clinical Care.
Responsibilities
- Determine appropriate staffing levels to achieve organizational goals
- Participate in unit budget development
- Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Supervise nursing staff
- Support shared governance initiatives
- Maintain alignment with Pathway to Excellence and Magnet standards
Requirements
- BSN required; MSN preferred
- Active NV RN license and/or willingness to apply is required
- Minimum of two years of recent (within the last five years) documented critical care experience required
- Minimum of two years of recent (within the last five years) documented experience in a supervisor, lead, and/or clinical program role
Pay
Compensation Range: $165,000 to $175,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation.
