About the role
Join a team providing direct nursing care in complex patient settings, focusing on assessments, interventions, and collaborative care planning.
Responsibilities
- Gathering comprehensive patient data from patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Analyzing data to determine diagnoses and care needs.
- Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to set outcomes.
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating personalized care plans.
- Ensuring safe, evidence-based nursing practices and effective communication.
- Maintaining current knowledge and contributing to quality improvement.
- Adhering to safety protocols and performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- Valid RN license in the relevant state.
- Current BLS certification; additional certifications such as ALS, PALS, ENPC, NRP, or TNCC preferred based on location.
Skills
- Effective communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, walking, and patient transfers.
- Visual, auditory, and sensory acuity necessary for patient monitoring and safety.
