About the role

Join a team providing direct nursing care in complex patient settings, focusing on assessments, interventions, and collaborative care planning.

Responsibilities

  • Gathering comprehensive patient data from patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Analyzing data to determine diagnoses and care needs.
  • Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to set outcomes.
  • Developing, implementing, and evaluating personalized care plans.
  • Ensuring safe, evidence-based nursing practices and effective communication.
  • Maintaining current knowledge and contributing to quality improvement.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
  • Valid RN license in the relevant state.
  • Current BLS certification; additional certifications such as ALS, PALS, ENPC, NRP, or TNCC preferred based on location.

Skills

  • Effective communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, walking, and patient transfers.
  • Visual, auditory, and sensory acuity necessary for patient monitoring and safety.
