Clinical Nursing Supervisor - Critical Care Stepdown

About the role

Provides patient care, supports department operations, and acts as a clinical resource. Assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care services. Serves as a staff nurse when needed and assumes delegated managerial duties, aligning with organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Valid RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Additional department-specific certifications may be required
• At least 2 years of patient care experience required
• Supervisor experience and a Bachelor's degree are preferred

Skills and responsibilities

• Coordinate and evaluate patient care in designated areas
• Act as a resource for staff and patients
• Perform clinical duties as needed
• Support departmental operations and delegated management tasks
• Maintain physical ability to lift, stand, walk, and perform various movements required for nursing duties
