Interim Director of Pharmacy/PIC - Travel Job
About the role
We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position where you'll use your clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to individuals navigating a range of physical and mental health challenges.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have State License to Apply
- Montana pharmacist license required
- Management experience required
- Inpatient pharmacy experience required
- Leadership experience required
- Sterile compounding experience required
- Must be able to serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
- 6 months Pharmacist experience preferred
Assignment Details
- Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday coverage
- Typical hours are mostly 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Unpaid lunch break
- On-call after hours is not likely
- Role includes administrative and staffing responsibilities
- Position oversees clinic, infusion center, and hospital outpatient department pharmacy services
- Meditech order entry system in use. Training available
- Touchpoint automation system in use

Location Highlights
Great Falls, Montana offers access to the Missouri River and the River's Edge Trail, a 60-plus mile trail system for walking, biking, and river views. The city also provides a practical base for outdoor travel, with Showdown Montana ski area about 70 miles away and Helena reachable in roughly 90 minutes by car.
