Interim Director of ASC

About the role

The Position An Interim Director of ASC is needed to provide operational and strategic leadership for a busy ambulatory surgery center with four operating rooms. This position will report to the Chief Nursing Officer. Key responsibilities include driving financial stabilization by identifying operational efficiencies to reduce monthly losses, evaluating staffing models and supply costs, leading the transition of non-clinical services into the hospital structure, strengthening workforce stability through recruitment and role clarity, supporting contract negotiations, and aligning quality and operational practices with ambulatory surgery center best practices.

Requirements

• BSN required; Master's degree preferred
• Active RN license required
• Recent ambulatory surgery center leadership experience or director-level surgical services experience, including ambulatory surgery center experience within the past five years, required

Compensation Details

Compensation Range: $160,000 to $165,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits. The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
