Fiscal Management

  • Mets established financial objectives and stays within budget guidelines.
  • Anually reviews contracts to ensure financial viability to the facility.
  • Develops business objectives, establishes staffing patterns, and organizes workload while interacting with senior leadership, medical staff and the Governing Body to assure close coordination of business functions and goal directed performance objectives.

Business Management

  • Plans, implements, and evaluates improvements in the delivery of care, employee/patient satisfaction and other quality assessment and improvements, and risk management activities.

ASC Management

  • Affirms facility licenses and certifications are active and maintained for corresponding standards.

Facility Management

  • Actively participates in planning and designing policies and procedures in collaboration with staff members, communicates clear understanding of job responsibilities, task objectives, deadlines and performance expectations.

Staff Developments

  • Encourages cooperating, teamwork and job ownership.

Facility Promotion

  • Demonstrates knowledge and professionalism with community and other organizational members.

Communication

  • Effectively communicates and interacts with patients, their family, and other external and internal clients.
  • Listens respectfully, gives feedback directly, honestly and talks with others to clarify differences.

Quality

  • Supports initiatives designed to improve individual and organizational performance.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role in an ASC, hospital outpatient, or ophthalmology surgical setting.
  • Ophthalmology experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and regulatory compliance.
  • Prior experience with CMS and Washington State Department of Health.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting, staffing, and quality improvement principles.
  • Ability to mentor and motivate staff in a fast-paced environment.

Education Requirement

  • Associate's degree in nursing required, bachelor's degree preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Primarily sits for extended periods, uses hands for typing and operating computer equipment, and talks or hears while communicating with callers.
  • Occasionally stands or walks within the call center environment.
  • Maintains focus and concentrates on tasks amidst potential distractions.
  • Maintains close vision for reading and distance vision for viewing computer screens.
  • Lifts or carries objects not exceeding 10 pounds.
