Interim Department Manager, L&D

About the role

The Position An Interim Department Manager, L&D is needed to provide operational and clinical leadership for a Labor & Delivery department.

Shift hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership
  • Support clinical operations
  • Manage staffing and workflow
  • Foster collaboration in a unionized environment
  • Maintain quality and patient safety standards

Requirements

  • Extensive Labor & Delivery leadership experience, preferably within a large healthcare facility
  • Experience working in a unionized environment
  • Highest level of organization, patience, and ability to adapt quickly to changing needs
  • Excellent communication skills

Compensation

  • Compensation Range: $150,000 to $160,000 annually
  • Final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation.
  • Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
