INTERIM DIRECTOR

About the role

The Interim Director will lead YFC's Detroit area ministry, overseeing strategic initiatives, community engagement, and program development. This role requires strong leadership skills, experience in youth ministry, and a passion for Christian service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement strategic initiatives to grow YFC's impact in the Detroit area.
• Develop and manage community partnerships to enhance outreach and support programs.
• Lead team meetings and staff development sessions to foster a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to align strategies and ensure consistency across YFC's operations.
• Represent YFC at various community events and conferences to promote the organization's mission and values.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Youth Ministry, Education, Communications).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in youth ministry or related field.
• Proven track record of successful leadership and project management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with diverse populations and communities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
