Intercollegiate Athletics Women's Basketball Asst. Coach
The University of California, Irvine (UCI) seeks an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach to assist in the planning, directing, and evaluating all aspects of a successful Women's Basketball program on the NCAA Division I level. Reporting directly to the Head Women's Basketball Coach, this role involves using a comprehensive range of professional athletics concepts and strategies to develop and maintain all aspects of the sports program. Responsibilities include assuming full management of specific aspects of the sports program, assisting with recruitment, practice, and administrative duties.

- Ability to demonstrate creativity, sound judgment, and decision-making; be an effective problem solver and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Specialized knowledge of the team sport or activity and demonstrated technical expertise in coaching principles.
- Leadership skills to mentor and develop athletes.
- Current knowledge of applicable rules and standards of the affiliated athletic conference, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) or National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), as well as other associations and agencies to which the campus adheres, and, at all times, avoid any and all violations of these rules and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
- Maintain NCAA certified recruiter status.
- Maintain CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
- 3-5 years' experience working with a Division I Women's basketball program.
