About the role

Conducts multi-discipline intelligence research and analysis with specific emphasis on counterintelligence, CI support to Technology and Infrastructure Protection, insider threats, and foreign intelligence entities that pose a risk to Department of Defense equities. Uses intelligence analytical tradecraft to fuse fragmented and raw data to prepare multi-discipline intelligence products. Stays informed of technical capabilities, operations, potential targets, methods of operations, and other developments within assigned areas to conduct counter insider threats operations. Resolves potential derogatory information concerning an applicant in relation to insider threats, counterintelligence, or international terrorism matters.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts multi-discipline intelligence research and analysis with emphasis on counterintelligence, CI support to Technology and Infrastructure Protection, insider threats, and foreign intelligence entities.
  • Uses intelligence analytical tradecraft to fuse fragmented and raw data to prepare multi-discipline intelligence products.
  • Stays informed of technical capabilities, operations, potential targets, methods of operations, and other developments within assigned areas to conduct counter insider threats operations.
  • Resolves potential derogatory information concerning an applicant in relation to insider threats, counterintelligence, or international terrorism matters.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter, in accordance with AR 600-85.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • May be subject to extended time on orders (TOY) or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
  • TDY will be required 25% or less of the time.
  • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) when required and on a periodic basis thereafter.

Qualifications

Specialized experience is defined as experience analyzing the intelligence community environment, Insider Threat Program, and Counterintelligence community to advise management on operations support and intelligence production; using advanced research and analytical methods to develop multi-discipline intelligence products from incomplete data while executing Knowledge Management (KM) processes to track thousands of screenings and vetting checks of Intelligence Community databases; and adhering to regulatory compliance for use of systems, reporting, and disseminating intelligence reporting and record management by filing and handling records per federal laws and regulations.

To qualify, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job, including:

  • Analyzing the intelligence community environment, Insider Threat Program, and Counterintelligence community to advise management on operations support and intelligence production.
  • Using advanced research and analytical methods to develop multi-discipline intelligence products from incomplete data while executing Knowledge Management (KM) processes to track thousands of screenings and vetting checks of Intelligence Community databases.
  • Adhering to regulatory compliance for use of systems, reporting, and disseminating intelligence reporting and record management by filing and handling records per federal laws and regulations.

Progressively responsible experience should include intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and/or operations, and demonstrate knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
