About the role
The successful candidate will join our Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit where they will work primarily with attorneys handling patent litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, computer science, or artificial intelligence.Responsibilities
- Advise clients on intellectual property matters, including patent infringement, validity, and enforcement.
- Prepare and present legal arguments in court and before administrative bodies.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement litigation strategies.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Requirements
- Three to seven years of experience in intellectual property litigation.
- A strong academic record, including a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- An active bar license in the state in which you reside or commitment to obtaining one as soon as possible.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle complex litigation cases and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in electrical engineering, computer science, or artificial intelligence is preferred.
