Integration Developer - Workday _ Division of Information Systems
Job Summary
Application Developer is responsible for identifying and analyzing business requirements, managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle, and designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with academic departments, faculty, and administrative leadership, assisting in the design, development, implementation, and testing of business process solutions, performing business process programming, providing training and technical guidance, ensuring comprehensive technical documentation, and supporting process improvement initiatives.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
- Preferred: Workday Pro accreditation, Experience supporting or developing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Student Information Systems (SIS) applications.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems, application development, programming logic, and emerging technologies.
- Skilled in designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting complex applications and systems.
- Ability to analyze user requirements, develop technical solutions, coordinate system implementations, and maintain comprehensive system functionality across enterprise environments.
Physical And Environmental Demands
- Requires occasional exposure to unpleasant or disagreeable physical environment such as high noise level and exposure to heat and cold.
- Occasional working hours significantly beyond regularly scheduled hours.
- Occasional work produced subject to precise measures of quantity and quality.
- Occasional bending, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, climbing, reaching, sitting, standing, twisting, and walking.
Responsibilities
Collaborates with academic departments, faculty, and administrative leadership as part of a team to ensure the successful integration of new business processes within enterprise business systems.
Assists in the design, development, implementation, and testing of business process solutions in response to end-user enhancement requests and operational needs.
Performs business process programming and provides training and technical guidance to staff regarding development tools, system functionality, and best practices.
Ensures the preparation and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation, including functional specifications, test conditions, test plans, test data, and related implementation materials.
Supports process improvement initiatives and contributes to the effective deployment and optimization of enterprise business applications.
