About the role
Southwire’s College Programs provide valuable experience to students pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher. The program offers meaningful, project-based work that builds on academic learning, culminating in a project expo at the end of the summer. Students receive coaching, feedback, and consideration for employment after graduation. All new interns and co-ops must begin in the summer rotation.
Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns aligned with Southwire’s strategic growth markets, including utility, data centers, renewable energy, and telecom.
- Assist in planning and executing Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives targeting key customer accounts and strategic market segments.
- Extract, compile, and analyze campaign performance data to develop insights, dashboards, and reports that support marketing effectiveness and decision-making.
- Conduct research on customer needs, industry trends, competitive activity, and target accounts to inform campaign planning and ABM strategies.
- Support creation and coordination of marketing content, sales enablement materials, presentations, digital assets, and campaign resources.
- Assist with planning and execution of webinars, trade shows, customer events, site visits, and segment marketing initiatives.
- Support marketing operations activities, including campaign tracking, lead management, reporting, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners—including product management, sales, and digital teams—to ensure campaign alignment and data accuracy.
- Perform additional marketing operations or campaign support tasks as needed based on evolving team priorities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or other relevant tools.

$20.00 – $23.00 per hour
